How the Selection Process Actually Works

Stage 1: First Stage CBT (Screening Test for All Candidates)

The first stage is common for all posts and tests your speed and accuracy across 100 questions in 90 minutes:

• General Awareness (History, Geography, Science, Current Affairs): 40 Questions
• Mathematics (Arithmetic, Basic Algebra, Mensuration): 30 Questions
• General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 Questions

There is a negative marking deduction of 1/3rd mark for every wrong answer. The raw scores are normalized across shifts.

Stage 2: Second Stage CBT (Post Level-Wise Exam)

Candidates are shortlisted for CBT 2 at a ratio of 1:15 based on their CBT 1 normalized score. CBT 2 has 120 questions in 90 minutes and carries significant weightage in final merit calculation.

Stage 3: Post-Specific Skill Tests
